Chloe Cocking is a writer of dark urban fantasy and a lover of all things caffeinated. She is almost entirely normal in her non-writing life, so there is no reason to be afraid. No reason at all: really!
She has been writing fiction and poems since she was a child. In the 1990’s, she was part of the editorial collective for A Room of One’s Own, a Canadian feminist literary journal. She completed a one-woman, one-act play called The Blanket on Freud’s Couch in 1998.
These days she is working on two novels, Blood Rain and Downward Dog. She hopes to finish Blood Rain by the end of 2015. She is an “on hiatus” member of New West Writers critique group and Eileen Kearnahan’s manuscript group at the Shadbolt Centre.
